If you need to cancel your registration, your registration fee can be credited toward another future CLEAN event if notified by July 3, 2020. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. If for any reason, Access Intelligence decides to cancel or postpone this event, Access Intelligence is not responsible for covering airfare and other travel costs incurred by registrants. The education you will receive at CLEAN WATERWAYS is extremely beneficial, though you may need to validate to management your reasons for wanting to attend! CLEAN WATERWAYS has compiled a justification toolkit that will help you with those needs.

When speaking with management, stress the breakout sessions you will attend, the types of people you will meet, and the companies you will visit in the Exhibit Hall.  A few ideas to include when compiling your request:

Letter to Management: Compile a letter to management outlining the benefits of attending CLEAN WATERWAYS. We have created a sample letter for you to use.
Conference Materials:  Offer to share lessons-learned with your co-workers.  Bring home your conference materials and share your experience with your team.
Conference Sessions: Highlight the conference sessions most applicable to your job.  Bring the highlighted program to management to reinforce the value your attendance will bring to your company.
Speaker Line-up:  CLEAN WATERWAYS attracts key stakeholders to speak. You will have direct access to these industry experts since information sharing, question-answer sessions and networking are a vital part of the CLEAN WATERWAYS experience.
Networking Opportunities:  Networking is the main focus of CLEAN WATERWAYS, with multiple networking breaks/activities built into the schedule. Contacts you make through networking can be invaluable once you return to work and can provide insight in future endeavors at work for years to come.

Sample Trip Report: Create a trip report after the conference. This report should discuss the sessions you have attended and how you will apply those concepts to your job. Once your supervisor sees how much you have learned during the week and how it can be applied in your facility, they will be more likely to send you to a conference again. CLEAN WATERWAYS Announces New Dates for 2020 Conference

March 26, 2020 

The 4^th Annual CLEAN WATERWAYS Conference announces it is rescheduled for August 3-5, 2020.  The event will take place in the originally scheduled venue, the JW Marriott Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN.

The health and safety of the community we serve is very important to us.  Due to the escalation of severity with COVID-19 and the recommendations of both local and federal government, event management made the decision on March 16 to postpone CLEAN WATERWAYS to future dates. Over the past 2 weeks our staff has been working diligently to reschedule the event, and we are pleased to announce that CLEAN WATERWAYS will now take place August 3-5, 2020.

“We are keenly aware of the impact this is having on the entire response industry, and feel that this decision will allow us to best serve our community and reiterate that the safety and health of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors is our top priority,” said Kayla Sparks, Show Director of CLEAN WATERWAYS.

The majority of the conference content and speakers already planned will remain intact, but new topics and speakers will be added. The goal of CLEAN WATERWAYS is to deliver content that covers the most relevant and important issues facing industry today, and we fully plan to adapt our program to meet the needs of the community we serve.
